The project
Rebuilding the website of Arantxa Vidal Psicología, a practice with several therapists in Vigo (Spain), coming from a slow template-based WordPress site with demo pages indexed on Google.
What was done
- Migration without losing rankings: old-site inventory from the Internet Archive, 17 of 22 URLs kept identical and the rest 301-redirected, plus the old template pages Google still showed.
- Static site with Astro: 0.4 s load, 1.1 MB whole site, 100 in accessibility, best practices and SEO.
- Health-site privacy: self-hosted fonts; maps, booking and analytics load only on click or consent.
- 024 notice (Spain's suicide prevention line) on every page, which none of the competitor sites reviewed had.
- One page per service: neurodivergence, depression, EMDR, emotional management and online therapy.
Results from the first weeks
First 28 days: 79 clicks and 1,640 impressions from Google. The neurodivergence screening page at position 4.7 with 26% CTR.
